To properly store a silicone extension cord, follow these guidelines:

  1. Keep Drying: Store the cord in a dry, cool place to prevent moisture buildup and maintain its insulation quality.
  2. No tight coils: Tight bends should be prevented when the cord is coiled because this may strain the internal conductors as time goes by.
  3. Apply storage reels: A storage reel should be considered to maintain the neat organization of the wire so as to avoid damage to the insulation if frequent use of the cable is required.
